Who wants to have a yard sale?

If you have spent some socially distanced time during the past year cleaning out your basement, garage and closets, you may have some junk — I mean formerly prized possessions — that you would prefer to have someone else own. So, is there interest in doing a neighborhood yard sale this summer?  Having our neighborhood yard sales on the same day allows us to do some marketing and draw a bigger crowd of buyers.

Please comment below if you would be interested in participating in a neighborhood yard sale, and if so, when.  Based on responses, the MNA board will consider organizing one.

  1. We have a few items to donate and would work a few hours at a community table, if one is established. Joe Miller, 109 N Hanover

  2. I would love to be involved–bringing stuff, setting up, helping with sales, etc. I assume this would be during warmer months–late May, June (?) Weekends would be best for me.

  3. We don’t have a truckload of items, but have been saving things we’re finished with in hopes of an eventual neighborhood garage sale, which would draw more potential buyers. We’re glad to hear that one may be in the works.

  4. I live at 717 Cramer Ave and would be interested in participating in a neighborhood wide yard sale any Saturday in June.

  5. Yes, I would participate in some fashion! I might prefer June as it is so hot starting in July.

  6. 827 Cramer Ave – we don’t have a ton of stuff to sale, but we have kids who would love to do a lemonade stand/bake sale/art sale.

  7. I’m interested! Anytime for the sale is good. I have lots of vintage and unique items. I live on Sherman. Thanks!

  8. Yes I would be interested in participating! End of May or Early June would work great for me!
