Chad Walker, owner of the Warehouse Block, said National Avenue will be closed from Walton Avenue to mid-bloc in front of Mirror Twin Brewing beginning at noon each of those days. The parking lots at Epping’s, the gravel lot at 737 National Ave. and the entire lot at 740 National Ave. will remain open.
“As always, the event wil feature three music performances during the course of the day,” Walker said in an announcement. “Willie Eames with Club Deub as well as The Ronn Crowder Band will be featured acts. Food, vendors, artists and local nonprofits will line National Avenue, along with some neighborhood favorites like Sav’s Gormet Ice Cream, Epping’s on Eastside, Minton’s, Popcorn Paradise, Void Sake, Blue Door Smokehouse and, of course, Mirror Twin Brewing.”
Walker said the May 17th party will be the development’s seventh city-approved event. “In an effort to remain responsible neighbors, the event will conclude by 9 p.m., with the street cleaned and reopened immediately following,” Walker said.
Walker said neighbors with any questions may email him at walkerprop@aol.com or call him on his cell phone, (859) 227-0774.
