What’s Going On In your Neighborhood?

Easter in the Park

The popular Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 26, at 10 a.m. on the Mentelle Park median. Plenty of eggs will be available for the finding. Please meet near 54 Mentelle Park.

Reminders Regarding the Egg Hunt:

  • Donations of filled eggs appreciated!
  • Anyone willing to donate, please email Caryn Huber at carynhuber@me.com and note the number of filled eggs that you are contributing. Our goal is 250 filled eggs.
  • Eggs can be dropped off on the porch of 54 Mentelle Park by Friday evening, March 25.

Book Swap During Egg Hunt

Bring a book and take a book. Or, if you have several books you would like to donate to the book swap, please drop them off on the porch of 726 Cramer, March 21 through Friday evening, March 25.

Leftover books will be donated to the Friends of The Lexington Public Library. If it is raining at 9:30 a.m. on March 26, the Egg Hunt and Book Swap will be postponed until noon.

March 25: Beer Tasting. Email the social chair Caryn Huber for details

May 22: Historical Marker Dedication, historical panel discussion and general membership meeting. Time, location and other details will be announced soon.

September 18: Mentelle Neighborhood Home Tour. Details to be announced soon.
